Middlewich Cemetery The cemetery opened in 1867 and contains a wealth of monuments dating from that time to the present day. The building featured in the photographs is the chapel of rest which was designed by the architects Bellamy and Hardy of Lincoln. The well maintained cemetery is a haven of peace and quiet and, for those with an interest in family history or social history, the monuments are a rich source of information.
